I got roped into riding from Jerusalem to Eilat on a bike for the annual Wheels of Love fund raiser for the Alyn Children's Hospital in Jerusalem.
My partner in saxophone playing, Bob Trachtenberg kept after me for 2 years until I finally signed up for the ride this year.
I am already into my 5th week of training - 4 days a week, I'll continue documenting the travails of training and when we go on the ride, I intend to post pictures and keep a daily diary.
